The first step is to consolidate your customer and prospect database into a single format, such as Salesforce or Excel.

Bartlett:creative will review what you have and provide guidance. Additionally, we will use your current marketing database as a pattern to determine your Universal Lead Definition (ULD).

 

Second, Bartlett:creative will provide you with a simple “building block” template to define your selected target market for this pilot program, your points of differentiation, and your sales offer(s) for this pilot.

The powerful deliverable from this step is a 100- to 500-word direct sales message for your prospects.

Next, Bartlett:creative will help you expand your marketing database, based on a review of your target market and its media space.

Typically, there are trade publications, or even list providers, with access to the audience you need to reach.

Now, at least one Web site landing page will be created or adapted. Even though your campaign may have multiple actions (call center, event, landing page), your campaign requires at least one Web landing page to explain your offer to prospects, prompting them to take the next step.

A simple Web Sign-Up Form will be created to capture new e-mail addresses.

Finally, we launch. Based on the previous four steps, Bartlett:creative will help you decide the channels (e-mail, snail mail, telemarketing, online advertising, etc.).

Your accounts are set up with the necessary vendors. Messages are tested. Then you pull the trigger and we launch.



Monitoring the results of your pilot-project campaign is critical. Typically, this is a weekly process. Minimum run time--to determine the effectiveness of the initial pilot project--is six months.
